Why photos matter
A close-up shows the immediate issue, but a wide photo explains access. Include the full fixture, the wall behind it where possible, and any nearby shutoff or access panel. If a replacement fixture is already selected, include its model number or specification sheet.
When a wall may need to be opened
Concealed valves and piping cannot always be evaluated or replaced from the finished side. The right access point depends on the assembly, the opposite wall and the work required. We explain the proposed access before work proceeds.
What a quote should clarify
The quote should identify the plumbing scope, known fixture requirements, assumptions about existing conditions, finish-work responsibility and meaningful exclusions. Hidden conditions may require a change in scope after access is created.
