Shower valve work, scoped before the wall is opened.

A leaking, stiff or poorly controlling shower may need an internal repair—or the concealed valve body may need replacement. We review the symptoms, valve identity and access before proposing the work.

Start with the valve, not a guess.

Trim style, brand, symptoms, parts availability and access all affect whether an internal repair is practical or the complete valve body should be replaced.

Problems we can review

  • Water leaking from the shower control area
  • Control that is difficult to turn or shut off
  • Temperature control that no longer behaves normally
  • Older valve with damaged or unavailable internal components
  • Planned trim or shower update that may require valve compatibility review

How the scope is decided

We first identify what can be learned from the visible trim and the symptoms. If an internal component can be safely serviced and suitable parts are available, opening the wall may not be necessary. A damaged, incompatible or non-serviceable valve body can require controlled access and finish-work coordination.

What this service does not promise

Photos cannot confirm concealed pipe condition or guarantee that a specific part will solve the issue. The service does not include a universal fixed price, emergency arrival promise or automatic wall/tile restoration unless those items are written into the project scope.
